A truly lovely place to eat, drink and enjoy yourself. The service was 10 stars from everyone who passed our table, not just our server. I will definitely come back. A true treasure.
I love Capri Of Downers Grove! In an area filled with great dining spots, Capri offers sweet hospitality. We stopped in one evening and they said were thinking about closing early because they were slow. They graciously offered to stay open for us. When I I told them we could come back another evening, both the bartender and server insisted we stay. During our entire visit, we were well cared for and not rushed. The room is warm and comfortable. The rounded room with a high ceiling and tons of windows really gave a pleasant look. We loved everything we ordered. From cocktails and appetizers to entrees and desserts, we were pleasantly satisfied. We left not only loving our dinner but the kind spirited staff of Capri of Downers Grove. The people are what takes a nice restaurant to wonderful.
We stopped in for dinner after the DG Choral Society Beethoven concert. I had the flat iron Amish chicken and my friend had chicken parmesan. We also ordered tomato basil soup. Our food was excellent and the service was great too. The atmosphere was very relaxing and I'd like to go back.
We love the music in the background especially when they play Frank Sinatra. Maybe my husband ordered the wrong food but mine was great.
We stopped into Capri on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We sat at the bar. Adrian, The bartender made us the drinks of our choice. He was very friendly and had some good suggestions for entrees. There is a contingency of regulars that were very welcoming and made the evening fun. The entire staff was attentive and seemed to enjoy ensuring you had a good experience. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts and the vodka sauce pasta. I had the gluten free pasta which was the best that I've had. Capri will now be on our list of DG favorite restaurants.
Love this place ! Gracious host , efficient server and all around great service. Food was excellent as well as the drinks. Definitely one of my DG favorites !
